The students are given the opportunity to test various winter sports and discover the alpine winter for themselves. You wonder why this offer is called "Shaqiri Winter Days"? Here is the explanation:
Pascal Jenny, Tourism Director of Arosa, has wagered with Xherdan Shaqiri, the Swiss national soccer player, that even Swiss immigrants who live in Switzerland for the second or third generation would be thrilled by the winter mountain world. Xherdan Shaqiri has accepted the bet and put it to the test.

The conclusion of Shaqiri: "I was totally surprised. The winter day in Arosa was great. We have tried everything from tobogganing, winter hiking, curling to cross-country skiing. I must say, the Swiss mountains and especially Arosa are simply awesome. I have clearly lost the bet.
